A hearty welcome at the new FreeBSD powered openMedia.info.

As time will allow I will provide here a good choice of interesting BSD related content. This site will mainly concentrate on how to run your own server. Be it for the web, a mail server, a fileserver, a P2P machine, all together...what you can imagine. And hopefully what you also may contribute :-). Planned is a complete FreeBSD guide starting from a basic installation, updating the OS to the latest stable release, installing and configuring ports and packages and getting all the fun (and tough) stuff to work.

As a start (and to get your attention) you can find here the latest MLdonkey version (currently 2.5.16 and 2.5.22), compiled and tested under FreeBSD. Please have a look at the menu on the right side.

- Download abuse: Please refrain from continuously polling the server and become a bandwidth hog.

The IP filter lists are OS independent and can be used with Windows, MacOS, *BSD, Unix, Linux etc.
